SWCD 2025 County Conservation Poster Contest Winners

​Students from all five Highland County Middle Schools were given an opportunity to design a poster with the theme “Home is Where the Habitat is" The posters were created on paper grocery bags donated by Hillsboro Kroger. The top three poster winners from each school received a gift donated by the Highland Soil and Water Conservation District (SWCD).  Each of the top school posters were then judged for the overall top five county poster winners, which received cash awards sponsored by the Highland County Farm Bureau at the 2025 Annual Meeting held on October 15, 2025. 
>The 2025 County Conservation Poster contest winners are (L-R) Resource Specialist Nathan Burns, Ely Hunter, fifth place; Andrew Gossett, fourth place; Levi Walker, third place; Hadley Murray, second place; Braylon Cox, first place. Congratulations to all of the participants for another outstanding contest.
